Hello all, my name is Matt Oberkofler and I am currently a first-semester Senior attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am a Communications Media major, and once I graduate I plan to pursue another major in Statistics. I live just off campus in a house with a few of my close friends. Some of my personal interests include playing recreational Ice Hockey as well as video games, most specifically NHL 10. I am somewhat of a sports fanatic and generally follow all Philadelphia sports teams as well. Recently, I have taken an active interest in audio recording, which I do for class, as well as a hobby now. Upon graduation, which for me will be in December 2010, like I mentioned earlier I plan on returning to IUP in order to obtain another major in the field of Statistics. My overall career goal, once I have completed my schooling is to work somewhere as a Market Researcher as this is where my passions for communications and the media lie. As for now, I am studying hard and relaxing when possible.
Matt - good to have you in the course. Market research is certainly a lucrative field, so best of luck as you pursue your undergraduate in both fields and as you go out into the job field as well.
